Executive Management Team
PETER ACKERMAN, President and Chief Executive Officer, began his legal career in 1989 at Intel Corp, where he handled a wide variety of contract and intellectual property issues at the company. He has also served as a judge for the City of Beaverton, Oregon. In his private law practice, Peter provided intellectual property assessments and transaction support to various companies, and advised clients involved in negotiations with such companies as Microsoft, HP, Siemens, Novell, and Intel. He holds a J.D. from the Santa Clara University School of Law.
STEVE ALLAWAY, Chief Technology Officer, is responsible for the design and development of IAG products. He co-founded and was senior vice-president of product development and strategy for Corillian Corp. (NASDAQ: CORI) where he pioneered the core aspects of online banking. Steve was also the principal of a software consulting practice developing products for banking, retail, manufacturing, e-commerce, and financial services companies. He has twenty years of software development experience.
MARK KLEIN, Executive Vice President of Engineering, is responsible for the management and execution of IAG’s product roadmap. Mark began his technology career over 25 years ago with the Honeywell Corporation at their central R&D facility in Bloomington, MN while he was attending the University of Minnesota pursuing his BSEE. Most recently prior to joining IAG, Mark was Vice President of Product Development at CheckFree, overseeing the development of the former Corillian Voyager Suite of products (CheckFree had acquired Corillian in 2007). Before joining Corillian, Mark was with Hewlett Packard as Worldwide Segment Manager for the Software Development and Electronic Design Automation market segments. Prior to HP, Mark spent 16 years with Mentor Graphics Corporation of Wilsonville, OR where he successfully progressed through a series of Product Management, Sales, and operational management positions, including a tour in Europe where he assumed the Presidency of Anacad, a company Mentor Graphics acquired based in Ulm, Germany. Mark’s final role at Mentor Graphics was as Director of Central/Corporate Engineering, reporting to the President/CEO and the COO/CFO. Mark has extensive Software Engineering Management, Product Management, and major account executive presentation and consulting experience.
SHAWN PILKINGTON, VP of Business Development and Technical Sales, is responsible for key account development, strategic relationship and partnership buildout, and technical sales. He is the former Manager of Technical Services and Sales for The Invention Machine, a Boston-based software company specializing in process innovation and intellectual property assessment tools for corporate R&D, engineering, M&A groups, and intellectual property law firms. Prior to that, he was a Senior Consultant and Lead Project Manager at Xerox. Shawn has ten years of software sales and business development experience.
KATHLEEN SEGO, Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for overall financial plans and accounting practices, controls, systems and standards. She is a financial manager with over 30 years of investment banking, treasury, corporate finance, and CFO experience with companies ranging from early stage to Fortune 500. Kathleen has a track record that includes profitable acquisitions and an ability to help transition young companies into profitable ventures. Her industry experience encompasses technology (software and hardware), utility, health care and banking.
